So I moved up to Elba, Idaho to be with my man. He is absolutely the best man in the world. We own twelve acres. Which I think is fabulous. I have always wanted a lot of land to raise animals, kids, and just to have. Now I have it and most of my kids are all grown. So hopefully I will be able to share the adventure with my youngest and my grandkids.
We have obtained 5 goats, which have now turned into 7. Have the cutest little babies. Then we have a donkey. The goats are Mickey, Minnie(she is pregnant due in September), Iris(new mommy), Jasper( new daddy), Jack, Diablo and McSteamy(yes named for Greys Anatomy). They are the babies. Diablo is all black, like his dad and McSteamy looks a lot like his mother, multi colored. The donkey's name is Maddie. We are supposed to be getting 2 more donkeys here soon. We are working and getting chickens and pigs. I would love to get to a point that we are getting most of our food from the farm.
Today Mike, me, Anna, and Devin went to town to get wood for the garden box that we are going to build. Anna really enjoys being on the farm. They the wood and weed cover cost us about 250.00. Hoping that this will work. I will post pictures of our progress.
